Our collection of maps is extensive.

The Pottstown Historical Society archives numerous maps including Sanborn maps going back to the early 19th century. These maps include county maps and town maps.

what we Have

The Society contains Sanborn maps that trace the growth of Pottstown and the downtown business district. While most maps are 20th century, we have maps of the area from as early as the 1850s.

The Pottstown Historical Society is always looking for local and Pottstown maps to help grow our collection. You can express an interest in contributing to our archives by clicking this link.

How Members Access Maps

All maps are available to members at our location. We welcome requests from members as to the maps that they are looking for.
