At our meeting on September 15th, 2025, at 7pm, at 568 High St. our speaker will be Rodney Kulp with a presentation on local wheelwrights in our area. He has also assembled an extensive review of his family’s seven generations of wheelwrights and other carriage makers. His family’s business was located at the corner of Little and Church Roads in New Hanover Township. They were in the wheel making trade from 1738 until the doors were closed in 1931. Rodney’s research has uncovered many details of a trade once omnipresent and important to the well- being and progress of our growing nation. So, wheel yourself and a friend to our cozy 1882 building on High and learn all there is about the wheel.
