Many members are requesting that I do my presentation on Hugh High, who rode his high wheeler from Pottstown to Nebraska and back in 1885. So, at our meeting on March 16th, 2026, at 7pm, at 568 High St., all are welcome to come out and hear the story of Hugh and his experiences riding his high wheeler bike on this long and exciting trip and the people he meets and the roads he had to traverse. He left for history a daily diary of all that he encountered. Even with our modern road structure I would dare anyone today to try such a major undertaking. All told he traveled 2,665 miles on his wheel. You may not have another opportunity to hear this personal story. Members are free, non-members are charged $5, a small fee to hear his story.
