At our next general meeting on May 18th at 7pm in our building at 568 High St. our speaker will be Steve Eisenhart, who will present a program on the Lutheran Church of the Transfiguration. This church was a mainstay of the Pottstown community and unfortunately, was lost to fire this year. For 165 years its tower supported the town clock which people at one time set their watches to. Your community history should be of importance to everyone living here and we have a chance to hear a big part of that history on the 18th. Please come out and support your local historical society and obtain some of our history in Steve’s slide presentation. All are welcome. Non-members pay $5.00.
