Calling all Pottstown Historical Society for our bi-monthly meeting. We are in the process of signing up a great speaker for the event. Our

speaker for May 19th will be Barbara Michalski, also known as Bluejay, who will discuss the past, present and future of the Lenape people. Chief Bluejay will explain how the Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania is revitalizing Lenape culture and continuing their role as caretakers of their homelands. Chief Bluejay will love to answer any questions and discussion at the end of her presentation. These people were from our area and were part of the Delaware Nation. Hope to see a good turn out to learn about this interesting indigenous group.
